Important: 970mm High Glass Panels are NOT compliant for use as a pool fence panel.

Our 970mm High Frameless Glass Fence Panels are engineered from premium toughened safety glass and certified for use in balustrade and barrier applications. Designed to meet Australian building standards, these panels are ideal where a lower glass barrier is required, such as balconies, retaining walls, decks, and architectural applications.

These panels are certified in accordance with AS1288:2021, AS1170.1, and AS1170.2 for applications protecting a fall of less than 5 metres.

Important Information

This panel must not be used as a 970mm high pool fence panel, as it does not comply with Australian pool fencing standards (AS1926) when installed in its standard orientation.

Common Installer Application

Professional installers often use these panels as an alternative to raked glass panels in certain situations. By installing the panel on its edge, the overall height becomes approximately 1200mm+, allowing additional width where required around retaining walls, garden beds, or sloping sites.

This installation method is commonly used to provide extra coverage where a standard raked panel is not suitable. Final compliance should always be confirmed for each individual installation.
